‘ET Mensah Will Shock Sam George’ NDC Youth Organiser

Constituency Youth Organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ningo-Prampram has told ghnewsnow that Enoch Teye Mensah will not work against the victory of the party in the area.

Habib Mohammed said the NDC cannot relinquish the Ningo-Prampram parliamentary seat to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and with ET Mensah as one of the founding fathers of the NDC, he would ensure that their victory came again.

“As a party and with ET Mensah as our political idol in the constituency, we are working hard to get Samuel Nartey George 80 percent of the votes and 90 percent for President Mahama in this year’s general elections,” he explained.

Habib Mohammed, who, during the Ningo-Prampram NDC primary, had a fierce confrontation with Samuel Nartey George for betraying their political ‘God-father’ ET Mensah, told The Chronicle that the elections were over and what the executive and members of the NDC were focused on was victory for Samuel Nartey George and President John Dramani Mahama.

He said he was aware of some wild rumours that ET Mensah was lobbying some of the NDC supporters to vote against Samuel Nartey George in the parliamentary election “but I want to tell our political opponents to stop tickling themselves.”

He added that most of the supporters of the NDC including Sam George, were nurtured by ET Mensah “and I want to tell you that when a son errs against the father and the son realises he had disrespected the father, he runs to other family elders to pray his father for forgiveness, and we are doing that.”

He said anything the NDC did in the constituency had the full blessings of their outgoing Member of Parliament (MP).

Rife news that the NDC in the constituency was not as formidable as it used to be before Samuel George Nartey beat his boss ET Mensah in the primary to become the new parliamentary candidate, Habib Mohammed said, was untrue.

“Our house is in order though in public, our opponents and some party supporters might see us strongly disagreeing on certain cogent subject.

“The NDC in Ningo-Prampram should remain united and not relent campaigning on the achievements of President Mahama in his first term and Sam George, who is poised to continue with the good works of his father ET Mensah,” the NDC youth organiser opined.

Concluding, he said there might be a surprise appearance on Saturday September 30 when the NDC in the constituency and Samuel Nartey George officially launch the campaign at Prampram.

Topping it up, Issah Vanguard, Constituency Organiser said all the branch executives of the NDC were united for their parliamentary and presidential candidates.

All ranks and camps that existed before their primary had been closed, he explained, adding that the indomitable force of the NDC in the constituency would shock the NPP when they, NDC, launched their campaign Saturday.

“We have a lot to campaign on for Sam George and President Mahama,” Issah Vanguard noted.

He told the NDC in the constituency to disbelieve reports by their political opponents that ET Mensah was secretly working against Sam George’s victory in this year’s parliamentary election.
