‘I Am Coming To Kumasi With Fire’-Bisa Kdei

The ‘Mansa’ crooner’ Bisa Kdei has promised his numerous fans across the country to deliver stimulating performance on December 25, in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.He called on Ghanaians to join him to part, as they send 2015 away.

‘On December 25, at True Vine Hotel, I am coming with fire to Kumasi,I am expecting to see everybody, every fan of Bisa Kdei, you know it’s Christmas eve and we have to party to send 2015 away, I want to see the whole of Kumasi there,’ he said.

Bisa who refuted claims that he is dating the beautiful songstress Becca, said he will be coming down to Kumasi with the latter to give him moral support.

‘There is no wedding, we are not dating. I might come with Becca to Kumasi to support me, it’s going to be a surprise, she’s a colleague so if you are doing something and need somebody to support, there is always a colleague to fall on,’ he said.

Bisa who expressed appreciation to God for his breakthrough in the music industry said he feels amazed that his song ‘Mansa’ is the most searched song on Google chart.

‘I feel so amazed and blessed that my song is the most trending song on social media,’ he remarked.Speaking on Ultimate Brunch hosted by Naa Klordey Odonkor, he hinted that lots of work went into the production of ‘Mansa’.

‘I feel so good about ‘Mansa’ song, because lot of production went into it, it’s topping Google chart, and not to talk of ‘Brother Brother,’ he added.He said that  he wanted to create awareness within the music circles that a pregnant song will be delivering a hit song unto the market soon.

‘Mansa’ was released in May, but due to some technical hitches had to be released in July, I wanted to create awareness that there is a fire coming, an album coming out. People really didn’t understand why I released ‘Brother Brother so early, because they were still enjoying Mansa.

I think it is the style I chose that did the magic for Ghanaians to love the song. It’s been ages since Ghanaians heard such songs; the whole plan was to bring the old to the new. The two songs are just fusion of the old and new styles,’

Highlighting on his latest danceable highlife song which is receiving massive airplay, ‘Brother Brother’, he explained that he wanted to release a highlife song which the old age could relate to.

‘Brother Brother It’s a party song, wanted to take people way back to our roots, so the elderly can also dance to it. Because starting from January, I told myself that by the end of the year, I should be able to give Ghanaians some huge hits which I have done now and am proud of myself. I thank God for that,’ he maintained.

He disclosed that he personally arranged the beats and programming of ‘Mansa and Brother Brother’, saying, Kaywa later worked on the mastering of ‘Mansa’.

‘Ever since I came into the mainstream music industry, I have been able to use my genre of music to get everybody’s attention. The album, ‘Breakthrough’ is to encourage and challenge everybody that whatever you are doing, there is always a chance for you to breakthrough; you can breakthrough with whatever you have got,’ he intimated.

Other tracks on the ‘Breakthrough album that gave birth to ‘Mansa and Brother Brother include, mobro, brother Bisa, sweet strings featuring Samini, kakape, you don’t know me and others.The Breakthrough album was launched over the weekend at Gold Coast in Accra with live band performances from other artistes.
