Ghanaian Veteran Soldiers Remembered
A wreath laying ceremony has been held at the Veterans Association of Ghana (VAG) villages throughout the country in commemoration of retired soldiers who died in line of duty during the First World War

The day is observed on 11 November every year to recall the end of hostilities of World War I in 1918 where hostilities formally ended “at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.In Ashanti region, the Kumasi Mayor Kojo Bonsu laid a wreath on behalf of the Government.
