Three Men Arrested For Murder At Techimantia

Three men are currently in the grips of the police for killing a fifty (50) year old man for stealing a fowl at Techimantia in the Tano South District of the Brong Ahafo.

The deceased only named as Yakubu was found dumped at the roadside for an alleged crime his complicity is yet to be established.

Brong Ahafo Regional Crime Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Maama Arhin in an interview stated that Yakubu was killed in the night making it difficult to know who was behind his murder.

He said the police after ensuring the body was buried, soon afterwards commenced painstaking investigations into the criminal act. “We took the matter seriously and started investigating the matter, it emerged that these three men were responsible for Yakubu’s death.

The culprits started pointing fingers at each other and that led to the police arresting them” ASP Arhin noted.

He added that currently the perpetrators have been sent to court and have been remanded pending the determination of the case.
