“Everyone in this country admits the register has a lot of discrepancies and going to an election with such a register is a recipe for violence”. He observed.

According to him, the call for a new register is non-negotiable considering the negative repercussions of the current register which if allowed to be used for the 2016 General Elections could threaten the peace the nation is currently enjoying.

Mr. Ramadan explained that it was to avert looming chaos during elections the group has decided to hold meetings with stakeholders to state their case in order for them to see reason for their demand.

“As I speak to you, we will be meeting with former President John Agyekum Kufuor as well and other people who matter in the democracy of this country to explain to them why we have taken up this task”.

He was reluctant in disclosing to ultimate1069.com if the group will embark on its planned demonstration to picket at the offices of the Electoral Commission.

“We shall announce that later after our interaction with the elders of the country which is currently ongoing”
