Organizers of the annual Bass Awards, an awards scheme to reward African Reggae and Dancehall Music, Rackus Productions, has this this week announced Saturday 6th December 2014 as the new date for this year’s edition of the awards night.

Commenting on the new date for the awards, the Communications Director of Rackus Production, Mr. Gabriel Boateng said “in line with our policy to make this year’s awards bigger and better, it has become necessary to reschedule the event to December after consultation with our partners to ensure all the needed logistics and elements are in place. Also, we have to ensure the production team is fully prepared to execute what promises to be the biggest awards night ever in the history of Ghanaian entertainment”.

Mr. Boateng revealed that this year’s awards will take the form of a one day festival at the Accra Sports Stadium. The event starts in the morning with performances by several of the nation’s budding and established artistes. This will be followed by more performance by an A-list of Ghanaian artistes and rewarding this year’s winners.
