VIDEO: President Nana Addo Observes Minute Silence For Capt. Mahama


Africa House at the New York University invited President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to address a Town Hall meeting on his visit to New York. In his welcome address, Dr. Yaw Nyarko, moderator of the event touted the progress Ghana has achieved over the years, proof of which is the absence of news in the American mainstream media.

President Akufo Addo started his address by calling the packed-to-capacity hall to join him observe a minute silence to the slain army officer who fell victim to mob justice.

In the main address, the President expressed confidence in his budget, and outlined some of the key areas his young government is prioritizing.

He said he is committed to weaning making Ghana more self sufficient and less dependent on international donor nations.
