Suspected Thief Lynched At Tafo

A young man believed to be in his early 30’s was on Saturday dawn lynched at Tafo.

The incident happened opposite the Tafo Government Hospital area, popularly called Mama Esther road.

The unidentified young man, in red T-Shirt was suspected to be a thief. According to snippets of information gathered, he is believed to have stolen from a nearby house in the area around 12:00am.

But nnfourtunaly he was encountered by some young men whom he struggled with for sometime and in the process allegedly injured two of the area boys with knife.

The angry area boys then pelted him with stones until he passed away.

meanwhile the Tafo district police command has commence an investigations into the mater.
