Election 2016: NPP Storms Opambour Church Seeks For Spiritual Protection For Nana Addo

The Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center at Ahenema Kokoben Island City near Brofoyedu was recently the center of attraction when leading members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the Church to seek for spiritual help in the December 7 general elections.

Led by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the elephant family, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka, Chairman Wontumi, together with some leading party officials, including Dr. Kojo Appiah-Kubi, MP for Atwima Kwawoma in the Ashanti Region, the delegation told Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom Opambour, aka, the Nation’s Prophet 1 and his congregration that their visit was at the instance of Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to Chairman Wontumi, they had come on behalf of the NPP’s 2016 presidential candidate to seek for God’s intervention going into the polls.

“Today, Moses is not around. You are the Prophet of God on this land. All that Nana Akufo-Addo is saying is that if we have done something and therefore affecting our chances of winning the elections, when we come to you, that will come to an end. Because, the soldier told Jesus Christ in the Bible that once you tell me to go out of this place, I know my sickness will be healed. And so, if you (Nation’s Prophet 1) tell us to go out of this worship center, we know that we have won the 2016 elections already”, Wontumi noted in his message to Rev. Dr. Opambour.

In a delayed video which was telecasted on Ebenezer TV on Wednesday, Wontumi told the congregration that the NPP will leave no stone unturned as far as the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections are concerned.

Opambour after listening to the delegation told them that their visit was not long overdue but noted that if they had come earlier than that maybe they wouldn’t have suffered defeats in the previous elections.

He nonetheless, thanked them for the bold steps they have taking to commit the party into God’s care.

“In 2008, I heard that Nana Akufo-Addo was coming here and so we prepared the place very well to welcome him. Then I heard somebody called Nana and told him that he coming here will be of no use and so he should go to a different man of God. Truly, Nana did not come and so I told my congregation that apart from what I will say, whatever any minister of the word will say is his or her personal view and not from God. And so, if Nana wants, he should go to any pastor and they will prophesy to him but it will not come to pass”, he said.

He futher told the congregation that the reason why the NDC won the 2008 elections was that the late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills made a bold decision and visited the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center to commit himself and the party into God’s hands.

“I told him that the elections will be very difficult but he would triumph at the end of the day”.

To Opambour, God has revealed to him the party that will win this year’s elections, stressing that that political party in question will be a party of his choice.

“God has told me that the party that I [Prophet I] wants will win this year’s elections”, he averred.

He also revealed that the polls will be the most difficult elections ever held in the country, adding that “only a few votes will decide who will ascend to the throne”.
