Knights Of Marshall To Honour Asantehene

The Supreme Council will on Friday, June 17, 2016 honour the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II with an honorary membership of the Knights of Marshall.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu will be conferred with “Honoris Causa” membership at the event to be held at the Manhyia Palace at 4pm prompt.

The Supreme Director, Sir Kt. Bro. Vet. Cdr. Dr. Sir E. S. K. Kwaw, the Supreme Knight, Sir Kt. Bro. Ernest Amoako Arhen , and the Supreme Spiritual Director, Most Rev. Joseph Osei Bonsu, would do the conferment.1.9356044
In attendance at the ceremony would be Most Rev. Gabriel Anokye, Archbishop of Kumasi, Most Rev. Peter Kwasi Sarpong, Archbishop Emeritus of Kumasi, Sir Kt Bro James Adomako, Sir Kt. Bro. Prof. Dr. Dr. G. W. Brobby as well as other officers of the Supreme Council and Grand Court.

Background

On January 1, 2016, Otumfuo Osei Tutu asked the leadership of the Noble Order of the Knights of Marshall to make him an honorary member of the society.

He expressed the desire to be made an honorary member when members of Council Three (3) and Court One (1) paid a courtesy call on him to invite him take part in the 80th anniversary celebration of the consecration of Council 3, Kumasi.
