With just a few months to this year’s general elections, the various political parties are employing different strategies to win the elections.
For the ruling NDC in the Sissala West Constituency in the Upper West Region, they are employing what they call “win your polling station” strategy.
Disclosing this to ghnewsnow.com, the upper west regional youth organizer of the NDC Nicodemus N.B.D Dery said the strategy is to ensure that each party member works to win their polling stations.
According to him, if this is replicated across the country, the votes for both parliamentary candidates and the President John Dramani Mahama.
He called on the party supporters to think of the larger interest which is the party and the country’s development.
He told ghnewsnow.com that the development of the country is assured under the leadership of John Mahama led NDC adding that the government is working hard to ensure that the needs of the citizenry are met.
Mr. Dery took a swipe at the opposition NPP who he described as enemies of progress.
He said, “what kind of people are these that everything they oppose? Any move for development is opposed by the NPP. This should tell Ghanaians that these people do not wish Ghana well”.
