AUDIO: “It’s Impossible For NDC To Achieve 1 Million Votes In Ashanti” – Ben Ephson

Renowned Pollster and Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch Newspaper, Ben Ephson has ruled out any possibility of Ghana’s two largest political parties, the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) achieving their electoral targets in the Ashanti Region.

The ruling NDC is seeking to make 1 million votes from the ‘world bank’ of the opposition NPP which has also indicated that it will soar its vote margin to get 90% come November 7.

Ashanti regional executives of the NPP at the launch of the regional campaign team at the weekend reiterated their target of 90% of votes for the party’s flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo.

But speaking on Ultimate fm’s news analysis program Fact File hosted by Julius-Caesar Anadem, Mr Ephson indicated that targets of both parties are not attainable indicating that both parties are engaging in mere conjecturing.

“From the percentage of votes achieved in 2008, both parties have had their votes dropping. Forget about the 90% and one Million votes. Both are impossible to achieve”, he disclosed.
