MUSIGA Grand Ball Executive Board Promises Good Show

The twelve man executive board for the Musiga Grand Ball appointed by the National Executive Committee of MUSIGA have assured patrons that this year’s event to be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the State House Banquet Hall will be a spectacular one.
The Board which is chaired by Samuel Afari – Dartey of Forestry Commission has other members such as George Andah former Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Glo and Airtel, Edward Boateng C.E.O of Global Media Alliance, William Adjorvu C.E.O of Liberty Group and Bright Semanu of Crown Apartmento. Other members are Samuel Atta-Mensah M.D of Citi FM, Iyioala Ayoade C.E.O of Multiple Concepts, Kwame Sefa-Kayi of Peace FM, Arnold Asante C.E.O of Imajin Advertising, Diana Hopeson former President of MUSIGA ,Eddie Ankomah of Erata Hotel and the Maestro Kojo Antwi who is also C.E.O of Breeze 90.9 FM.
According to the MUSIGA President, the Board provides strategic direction for the goals of the Grand Ball Event to be achieved. The Grand Ball is one of the major fund raising events to support some of the Union’s projects. For 2014, the focus is to raise funds in support of the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWeF) and the MUSIGA Academy.
The MUSIGA President, the event is to provide a networking opportunity for captains of society, businessmen, women and corporate people to take a break and wind down to the best entertainment from the very best of entertainers..
The MUSIGA Grand Ball is a spectacular night of authentic Ghanaian music, comedy and networking with a sumptuous 5 star dinner.
Performances lined up for the MUSIGA Grand Ball include legendary Ghanaian performers like Amakye Dede, A.B Crentsil, PaapaYankson, Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Efya and Tagoe sisters. There will also be performances from Smart Nkansah, Abrekyire Ba Kofi Sammy, Osei Vasco, No Tribe, Paulina Oduro , Noble Nketsiah and Comedy show by KSM and DKB as well as an auction of musical collections, vintage items belonging to celebrated musicians.

The event line up also includes a special raffle draw and honouring of some select individuals whose support to the Ghana music industry has been outstanding.

This year’s event is been sponsored by Huawei, Tigo, Johnnie Walker and Midland Savings and Loans and will have his excellency John Dramani Mahama and former president John Agyekum Kufuor as Special guest Patrons.
